Registration for 2026 summer school courses is now open through May 16 via PowerSchool. The catalog includes course descriptions, instructors, and prices. Minimum required enrollments need to be met for each class therefore schedules will be confirmed when registration closes. Course fees will be posted after May 16 and due by June 12 via PushCoin.
PowerSchool Registration
Prior to registering, parents must create a PowerSchool account. PowerSchool works best in a desktop web browser.
Parents of current sixth-eighth graders should already have an account and do not need to do anything additional at this time.
Parents of current kindergarten-fifth graders received an email on March 11 with a special access code to create a PowerSchool account. Follow the steps in that email to create an account and link your student(s). If you no longer have the student access code, email techsupport@district96.org. Please include your child’s name, grade, and school.
Course Sign Up
Log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal, click Summer School Schedule from the left menu.
Click on Search Courses to see a list of available courses for your child’s grade.
Select all the courses you want to register your student for. If the course name is not clickable, it is not available. If the courses you choose conflict with each other, a message in the last column will be displayed.
Close the course window and a grid with your student’s requested schedule will be displayed. You can cancel a course by clicking the X button next to the course name. If you remove a SkillBuilding course and need to re-add it, email summerschool@district96.org.
You do not have to confirm or submit; what you view as your child’s schedule in the Student Schedule Creator is set.
