Duct Tape the Principal Fundraiser

The Central PTO is currently fundraising to support Northwoods Park Middle School in North Carolina.  This school's library and all of the books in it were destroyed by the recent hurricane.  To help raise money to support this cause, the PTO asked for my support again this year.

During school this week, students can bring in spare change and donate it to one of the plastic bins in the office.  They can choose from one of 5 staff members' bins to place that spare change (Mr. Elgeness, Mrs. McMahon, Mrs. Mazza, Mrs. Neal or Mrs. Bring).  Whichever teacher has the most money in their bin at the end of the day tomorrow will be taped up on the wall next to me outside at recess on Friday, October 19th.

In addition to the spare change, on Friday students can also buy 2 strips of duct tape for $1.00.  Those strips will be used to tape me and the staff members up agains the wall outside.  Finally, back by popular demand is the "Pie in the Principal's Face".  Students can make a single $20.00 donation for a whipped cream pie that they can plant right on my nose at the end of the lunch hour.  Last year over 30 pies were pushed in my face for charity.  That's a lot of fun, and a school in need of our support benefits.

Please dig up some loose change, send a dollar or two on Friday for tape, and consider donating $20.00 to put a pie in my face.  The students have a lot of fun with this quick fundraiser which means students at two schools will benefit from your generosity.
