Through the ReadyGen curriculum, 3rd graders are learning how to identify reasons that explain how and why things occur in nature. As a culminating project for the unit, the students will be doing research and then filming an engaging news report that explains how weather affects people. To inspire the 3rd graders we had meteorologist, Kalee Dionne, from NBC 5 come to Central to talk to us about weather and being a part of the weather team on NBC.
